Dr. Nicholas Hartlep spoke about the neoliberal agenda that is keeping us all in debt. It is very intentional. He spoke about his personal college debt journey. one of the tasks of his team of editors of The neoliberal agenda and the student debt crisis in us higher education was to look at the problems in our society that have led to the $1.5 trillion owed right now by students.Though the book is full of excellent analysis that connects the dots and brings the current situation into very clear focus, it also includes personal stories which reflect the reality of the analysis. one action we can all take is to challenge corporate business language connected to education. Education is not a business opportunity, privatization is bad policy, YOU ARE NOT A LOAN.
